What is the cut off time for placing an online order?
All Canberra Metro Orders must be placed by 8 pm, 2 days prior to your desired delivery date.
Please note, some outer and regional suburbs such as Goulburn, Yass etc have specific delivery dates, please contact the office for more details.
I have a damaged or missing item in my box
Do not open the product/s if it is damaged. Take a picture and notify the office immediately by phoning us at (02) 5100 6732 or email us at email@example.com
What is your refund policy?
All our products are locally sourced and packaged by our suppliers so that you get the best value for your money. We ask that you carefully inspect the meat packages for any broken seals or damage. If your package has been damaged or is not up to your satisfaction we will return the product for a full refund or exchange. Do not open the packages and notify us by taking a photo. We do not offer refunds once the product has been opened. For a full refund or exchange please return the product in its original packaging and proof of purchase within 24 hours. How does it work?
When you place an order either over the phone or through our website, you will receive an email order confirmation and one of our staff members will pick and pack the required meats and fresh produce to go into your insulated BBQ box. It will then be packed onto one of our locally owned delivery trucks and delivered to your home or business.
When can we expect deliveries?
We deliver between 4am to 6pm, 7 days a week. Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive a text message the morning of your delivery with an approximate time of arrival. Please note: our drivers will do their very best to deliver your box within your preferred drop off time, however it is not guaranteed to be delivered at this time.
Can I pick up my order from the warehouse?
Due to safety and Covid-19 restrictions, unfortunately warehouse pick up is currently unavailable. However we are looking at this option closely in the near future.
Are your meats and poultry hormone and chemical free?
Yes, all of our fresh produce is hormone and chemical free.
Can I customise my BBQ Box?
All of our BBQ boxes are pre-defined and cannot be altered. However we are currently working on expanding our range to accommodate more dietary restrictions and preferences, including Customised BBQ Boxes.
Can I cancel my order?
Subscription Orders: You can make changes yourself by logging into your online account. Cancellations must be submitted by 2pm, at least 3 business days prior to scheduled delivery.
Non-subscription Order: Phone our office on (02) 5100 6732, or email email@example.com, by 2pm at least 2 business days prior to your scheduled delivery to request a cancellation.
Can I modify my subscription?
For any adjustments or modifications to your subscription delivery log into your account and make your desired changes at least 2 business days prior to scheduled delivery. Contact our office on (02) 5100 6732 for extra assistance.
Are you a grower and are your products organic?
We do not grow our produce but we do source our products from the best suppliers across the country. We make sure that all of our meat produce is processed and packaged in one location in order to maintain freshness and guaranteed quality.
What are your Covid-19 safety measures?
We have taken drastic measures in our Fyshwick depot to ensure the safety of our customers and employees during Covid-19.
Our Staff are reminded to frequently wash hands with soap and sanitise, wear gloves and masks, and remain socially distanced.
BBQ Box Foods will adhere to any and all restrictions set in place by the ACT Government to ensure a safe and healthy service.
For the time being, our service has been restricted to contactless home delivery only (no pick-ups) to limit the number of people entering the warehouse.
